This website
This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics, tracking or advertising. Like every web server, our host (Cloudflare) processes your IP address to deliver the pages and protect them from attacks; it keeps short-lived server logs for that purpose only. Everything on these pages, fonts included, comes from this site: no third party is contacted when you visit.
When you buy
Purchases are handled by our reseller, Lemon Squeezy, who acts as the merchant of record: they take the payment, charge the right tax and send your receipt. They process your payment and billing details under their privacy policy. We never see your card details.
From Lemon Squeezy we receive your name, e-mail address, order number, country and the edition you bought. We use them to:
- create your licence key, which contains your name, e-mail address and order number so it can be traced back to its owner;
- e-mail the key to you, through our e-mail provider Resend;
- send it again if you lose it, handle refunds, and help you when you ask for support.
This is stored on our licence server at Cloudflare. We keep it as long as your licence is in use, and order records as long as accounting law requires.
Beta sign-up and feedback
If you sign up for the beta, we store the e-mail address and answers you give (name, graphics card, Blender version, what you'd make, a link to your work) to pick testers and send you a key. If you send feedback, we store your message and, if you give one, your e-mail address to answer you. Both are kept on our licence server at Cloudflare for at most a year, and you can ask us to delete them sooner.
The software
Rupture FX works fully offline. The Blender add-on and the simulation programs do not send any data anywhere: no telemetry, no usage statistics, no licence checks over the internet. Your key is checked on your own computer.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it (after deletion we can no longer resend your key). Write to orionarian185@gmail.com. If you are in the EU or UK and think we handle your data wrongly, you can also complain to your data protection authority.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date.
